Pipe Flow
Rotate the pipes and let the water run from source to drain.
Click a pipe to rotate it 90°. Connect the green-ringed source 💧 to the red-ringed drain so the whole path turns blue. Straights, elbows, tees and crosses all conduct water — extra branches are fine, only the source-to-drain path matters. Source and drain are fixed.
About Pipe Flow
Pipe Flow is a rotation puzzle about plumbing a route: a grid of pipe tiles — straights, elbows, tees, crosses and dead ends — starts scrambled, and clicking a tile rotates it a quarter turn. Your job is to connect the fixed green source tile to the fixed red drain so that water, which lights every connected pipe blue, flows all the way through. Eight hand-made levels grow from a gentle 5×5 to tangled 7×7 networks full of decoy branches that lead nowhere.
Every level was built from its solved state and then verified twice: water reaches the drain in exactly the designed orientation, and cannot reach it in the scrambled start position. Par is equally honest — it is the true minimum number of rotations the intended route needs (counting a tile that must turn three times as three moves), so beating par means you found a shorter route than the designer did. A live 'flowing tiles' counter and blue highlighting make the growing network easy to trace as you work.
How to Play Pipe Flow
Find the green-ringed source tile and the red-ringed drain tile — they are fixed and never rotate.
Click any other tile to rotate it 90° clockwise; each click adds one to your rotation count.
Join pipes mouth-to-mouth: water only flows between tiles whose openings face each other.
Watch the blue spread — every tile connected to the source lights up, showing exactly how far your route reaches.
The level is solved the moment the drain joins the blue network. Branches and loops are allowed; only the route matters.

Tips & Tricks
- 💡Work backwards from the drain: its one opening dictates its neighbour's rotation, and the chain often falls into place from there.
- 💡Fix elbows before straights — an elbow that must join two specific sides has exactly one correct rotation.
- 💡Ignore decoys. Tiles far from any sensible route between source and drain never need to be perfect, only connected or disconnected as required.
- 💡Chase par by planning the whole route before your first click: count the turns each route tile needs and you will know the minimum before you start.
Pipe Flow — Frequently Asked Questions
How many levels are there and how big do they get?+
There are 8 levels: two 5×5, three 6×6 and three 7×7 grids, with longer routes, tees and crosses appearing as you progress. You can play them in any order from the level buttons.
What does par mean in Pipe Flow?+
Par is the exact minimum number of 90° rotations needed to put the intended route's tiles into their solved orientations from the scrambled start. Finishing at or under par earns a star on the win message.
Do all pipes need to carry water to solve a level?+
No. Only the drain must join the source's network. Extra branches off the main route are harmless, and decoy tiles that never connect to anything can be left in any orientation.
Is every level definitely solvable?+
Yes — each level was designed from a completed solution and then machine-checked: the drain is reachable in the solved orientation and unreachable in the scrambled orientation you start from.
