About Minesweeper 3D
Minesweeper 3D rebuilds the timeless deduction puzzle as a board of chunky blue 3D cubes on a raised platform. Click a cube and it sinks and flips to a pale face showing a coloured number — or a mine. Every number is a tiny logic puzzle: it counts exactly how many of its eight neighbours hide mines, and from overlapping numbers the whole field can be solved with pure reasoning.
The 3D presentation keeps every classic rule: guaranteed-safe first click, flood-fill opening of empty regions, flags on right-click or long-press, and a Flag Mode toggle that makes touch play practical. Two boards are included — the 9×9 / 10-mine beginner field and a denser 12×12 / 24-mine intermediate field — with a live timer and mines-remaining counter in the HUD.
How to Play Minesweeper 3D
Press Start and choose Beginner (9×9, 10 mines) or Intermediate (12×12, 24 mines).
Click any cube to reveal it — the first click and its neighbours are always safe.
Read the numbers: each one counts mines in the eight surrounding cubes.
Right-click, long-press, or use Flag Mode to flag cubes you have deduced are mines.
Empty areas flood-open automatically, revealing whole safe regions at once.
Reveal every safe cube to clear the field; one mine ends the game and reveals the board.

Tips & Tricks
- 💡A '1' with only one covered neighbour left means that neighbour is a mine — flag it immediately.
- 💡If a number already has its full count of flags around it, every other neighbour is safe to click.
- 💡Solve from the edges inward: edge and corner numbers constrain fewer cubes and crack the board open fastest.
Minesweeper 3D — Frequently Asked Questions
Can my first click hit a mine?+
No. The mines are only placed when you make your first reveal, and that cube plus all eight neighbours are guaranteed mine-free, so you always get a fair opening region.
What is the difference between Beginner and Intermediate?+
Beginner is a 9×9 board with 10 mines. Intermediate is a 12×12 board with 24 mines — nearly double the density, so deductions have to be much tighter.
Does a wrong flag cost anything?+
There is no penalty for wrong flags other than the information cost — but a flag also blocks that cube from being revealed, and the Mines Left counter only counts flags, so sloppy flagging hides your real progress.
