Bowling 3D
Aim, charge and curve your way down a polished 3D lane — ten frames of total-pins bowling.
Bowling 3D
Aim on the lane, hold Space to charge your power, release to roll — steer with the arrow keys mid-roll for curve. Ten frames, two throws each, simplified scoring: total pins.
About Bowling 3D
Bowling 3D puts a polished wooden lane, a full rack of ten pins and three separate skills between you and a perfect game. This is not a one-button bowling toy: every throw is built in three phases — aim, power and curve — rendered in real 3D on a lane with true gutters. First you position the ball along the foul line. Then you hold to charge a power meter that sweeps back and forth, and release it at the strength you actually want. Then, as the ball rolls, you can still bend its path with the arrow keys, riding the line between a driving strike ball and a humiliating slide into the gutter.
The scoring is deliberately simplified and says so up front: your total is simply every pin you knock down across the whole game — a maximum of 100. There are no strike or spare bonuses and no bonus balls in the tenth frame, which makes the game pure: the only question is how consistently you can put the ball into the pins. You get up to two throws per frame over ten frames, a fresh rack each frame, and fallen pins are cleared away between throws so the second ball is an honest spare attempt at whatever is standing. A strike — all ten with the first ball — ends the frame immediately.
The pin physics reward a bowler's thinking. Pins fly and topple into each other, so where the ball first contacts the rack matters more than raw power: a ball driven into the pocket just beside the head pin starts chain reactions that a full-power ball straight into the middle — which deflects and ploughs through thinly — often does not. Your running total, frame and last-throw pins are always on the HUD, and your best total is saved.
How to Play Bowling 3D
Press Start Game. The ball waits at the foul line and a fresh rack of 10 pins stands at the end of the lane — frame 1 of 10.
Aim first: move the ball left or right along the line with the Left/Right arrow keys (or A/D), or drag it on the lane on touch devices.
Charge your throw: press and hold Space (or hold the Throw button) and the power meter sweeps up and down; release to throw at whatever power it shows. Timing the release is the skill — full power is rarely the best answer.
While the ball rolls you can still steer it: tap Left and Right to add curve and keep it out of the gutters on either side of the lane.
After the throw settles, the pins you felled are counted and cleared away. If pins remain you throw again at the same rack; if you struck all ten, the frame ends early. Each new frame starts with a fresh rack of 10.
After 10 frames the game ends. Your score is your total pins felled all game — 100 is a perfect game.

Tips & Tricks
- 💡Aim for the pocket, not the head pin. Starting slightly off-centre and curving the ball into the gap beside the head pin lets the ball drive through the rack while pins scatter into each other — the most reliable strike pattern in the game.
- 💡Moderate your power. The meter ping-pongs, so pick your moment: a medium-fast ball deflects less off the first pin and keeps driving through the rack, while a wild maximum-power throw often veers and splits the pins.
- 💡For spares, aim at the pin, not at the gap. With a partial rack standing, the cleanest line is directly through the front-most remaining pin — the curve keys let you fine-tune the approach all the way down the lane.
- 💡Respect the gutters. They run the full length of both sides, and a guttered ball scores zero for the throw no matter how good the line looked at release; when in doubt, start your aim a notch further from the edge.
Bowling 3D — Frequently Asked Questions
How does the scoring work — are there strike and spare bonuses?+
No, and deliberately so: scoring is simplified to total pins. Every pin you fell across all 10 frames simply adds to your total, so the maximum score is 100. A strike still matters — it means 10 pins from one throw and the frame ends early — but there are no bonus points and no extra balls in the tenth frame.
How many throws do I get per frame?+
Up to two. If your first throw fells all ten pins (a strike), the frame ends immediately and a fresh rack is set for the next frame; otherwise fallen pins are cleared and you throw your second ball at the pins still standing.
What does the power meter actually do?+
Holding Space (or the Throw button) starts the meter sweeping back and forth rather than simply filling, so releasing is a timing judgement: release at the strength you want, not necessarily the maximum. Ball speed affects how the ball deflects through the rack and how far your mid-roll curve can bend it.
Can I play Bowling 3D on mobile or in fullscreen?+
Yes. Drag to aim and hold-and-release the Throw button on touch devices, with the arrow buttons available for curve, and the fullscreen button on the game frame expands the lane to fill your display — landscape works best.
