About Archery 3D

Archery 3D puts you on an outdoor range in first person, bow in hand, facing six ringed targets at increasing distances. You aim the crosshair freely, hold to draw — the draw meter ping-pongs so a full, steady draw is a timing skill in itself — and release to loose one of your ten arrows.

The simulation earns its keep with two real archery problems: drop and drift. Arrows fall further the longer they fly, and weak draws exaggerate both the drop and the wobble. A live wind readout (plus an orange windsock and drifting particles) tells you how hard the crosswind will push each arrow, and the push grows with target distance. Scoring follows the rings: 10 for the gold centre down to 3 for the outer white, for a perfect round of 100.

How to Play Archery 3D

1

Press Start Game and aim the crosshair with the mouse (arrow keys nudge it).

2

The shot goes to whichever target your aim point is closest to — pick your target deliberately.

3

Hold the mouse button, Space or the Draw button to draw the bow; release to loose.

4

Compensate: aim above far targets to beat drop, and aim into the wind to cancel drift.

5

You have 10 arrows total across all six targets — spend them where your grouping is best.

6

The round ends after the tenth arrow with your total out of a possible 100.

Tips & Tricks

  • 💡Aim high on far targets — drop grows with the square of distance, and a full draw flattens flight.
  • 💡Read the wind before every arrow: at full strength on the farthest target it moves a shot a whole ring.
  • 💡Never loose a weak draw — sway and drop both shrink dramatically as draw power climbs.
  • 💡Bank safe points on the near targets first, then spend remaining arrows on the far gold.

Archery 3D — Frequently Asked Questions

How is Archery 3D scored?+

By rings on whichever target the arrow hits: the gold centre is 10, then 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 3 for the outer white ring. Missing every target scores zero. Ten arrows means a perfect round is 100 points.

Why do my arrows land low on far targets?+

Arrows drop under gravity for the whole flight, and the effect grows fast with distance. Aim above the centre for far targets and use a strong draw to flatten the trajectory.

What does the wind number mean?+

It is the crosswind strength for the next shot, shown as an arrow and number in the HUD. Positive wind pushes arrows right, negative pushes left, and the drift is larger on longer shots. It re-rolls after every arrow.

Which target does my arrow fly to?+

Whichever of the six targets is nearest to your crosshair when you loose. Position the crosshair clearly over one target so there is no ambiguity.
